<p>It&#39;s not just the gluten that&#39;s the problem.&nbsp; It&#39;s also the genetically modified wheat the food industry uses to make our bread and other products.&nbsp; Dr. Mark Hyman wrote an excellent blog post today that is titled &quot;Three Hidden Ways Wheat Makes Us Fat&quot;.&nbsp; You can read it <a href="http://drhyman.com/three-hidden-ways-wheat-makes-you-fat-8425/">HERE!</a></p>
<p>He talks about the health problems associated with this new wheat.&nbsp; This includes the new Super Starch that is super fattening and super inflammatory.&nbsp; Dr. Hyman also lists five ways gluten makes you sick.&nbsp; The last one he listed is eating gluten free food.&nbsp; That sounds odd, huh?&nbsp; It&#39;s because when most companies take out the gluten, they add in other high glycemic starches that spike your blood sugar and increase your weight.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I&#39;m happy to say I&#39;ve found a company that has an outstanding line of gluten free products like bread, without those kinds of starches.&nbsp; They use resistant starches instead.&nbsp; These don&#39;t spike your blood sugar.&nbsp; In fact, they&#39;ve been shown to help people lower blood sugar and lose weight.&nbsp; It&#39;s called Julian Bakery and you can order the products right on their site and have them shipped to your door.<a href="http://www.julianbakery.com">&nbsp; Click HERE</a> to check out their entire line of great products.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I ordered several of the gluten free, low carb breads and love them.&nbsp; They taste great and freeze well.&nbsp; You know I&#39;m all about the protein to carb ratio.&nbsp; Get this&#8230;1 slice has 10 grams of protein and 10 grams of carb of which 7 grams is fiber.&nbsp; 1 gram of fat and 73 calories.&nbsp; This is the bread dreams are made of.&nbsp;</p>

<p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">What this video will show you is a women who wanted to heal so badly, she was willing to come to T-Tapp class consistently, even when all she could do in the beginning was sweat her way through about 10 minutes of class.&nbsp; </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Nothing else had worked for her.&nbsp; She couldn&#39;t get her weight below 200 pounds no matter what she did!!!&nbsp; She had no reason to believe this was going to be any different.&nbsp; But in her heart, she knew she T-Tapp was different.&nbsp; <br />

<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Donna made a decision to keep coming to T-Tapp class even if it was just one or two times a week.&nbsp; She never gave up. Even when she&#39;d go through the motions and not really feel anything.&nbsp; She just knew to keep going.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">When she&#39;d realize she was focusing on negatives, she&#39;d immediately shift her focus.&nbsp; She kept a page of positive affirmations on a sheet of paper and she&#39;d read them over and over again.&nbsp; </span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Donna also taped positive and helpful posts that I&#39;d written and she&#39;d listen to them repeatedly instead of running to the kitchen to eat.&nbsp; </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Donna has lost over 50 pounds.&nbsp; It hasn&#39;t been easy. There have been bumps along the road.&nbsp; But there was always a T-Tapp class to come to.&nbsp; There were her T-Tapp friends that would continue to inspire her to stay the course. She knew to surround herself with positive people instead of the rest of the world who were always boo hooing about everything. <br />
	</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">There is one more interesting twist to this story.&nbsp; Three weeks ago, I came back from Safety Harbor with some new muscle activation tweaks Teresa Tapp had taught us.&nbsp; I immediately added them to our classes.&nbsp; </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">You never know when someone is going to get their big &quot;ah ha&quot; muscle activation moment but Donna got several.&nbsp; All of a sudden she was able to feel her &quot;lats&quot;.&nbsp; When she was doing some of our stretches, she realized she had been focused on her tummy instead of her back muscles.&nbsp; When she switched her focus, her activation increased.&nbsp; </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Typically when Donna would stretch, it wouldn&#39;t feel good to her.&nbsp; I&#39;d always be saying &quot;doesn&#39;t that feel great?&quot;&nbsp; Donna would be thinking &quot;NO!!!&quot; All of a sudden, she realized that stretching her muscles could feel good.&nbsp; This was a huge shift for her.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Over the last two weeks, Donna has lost a shirt size!!!&nbsp; She&#39;s learned how to activate those muscles and the cinching in is happening!!!&nbsp; She is shrinking right before our eyes.&nbsp; </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Yes&#8230;it took Donna 7 years to get here.&nbsp; But she&#39;s here now.&nbsp; Feeling so much better.&nbsp; Her blood sugar is stable, her blood pressure is good, her mind is positive and active. She has her body back and life is good.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">I know this!&nbsp; I really wanted to find an alternative to the nasty deodorant issue.&nbsp; But, quite frankly, I&#39;ve never found a &quot;natural&quot; deodorant that really worked well.&nbsp; I hate to say this but it&#39;s true.&nbsp; What is a girl to do?<br />

<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">One thing I have found to be really helpful is taking my Better Body Basics Alfalfa.&nbsp; Alfalfa is a green plant protein that has chlorophyll in it and that is a natural internal deodorant.&nbsp; Under most circumstances taking my alfalfa takes care of the issue.&nbsp; But if you&#39;re under stress or hormonal imbalance&#8230;sometimes it&#39;s just not enough.<br />

<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">I have been using Young Living Oils deodorant called Meadow Mist.&nbsp; There are no nasty chemicals in it and the essential oils do work pretty well to keep odor at bay.&nbsp; But it still wasn&#39;t like rolling on the Secret.&nbsp; If you know what I mean.<br />
	</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">At the T-tapp Beauty Boot Camp last week, a T-Tapp had a great tip.&nbsp; She told me to take a pea sized drop of the Young Living tooth paste called Thieves Dentarome Ultra.&nbsp; Pat that under the arms.&nbsp; She swore by it.&nbsp;&nbsp; I tried it and was blown away.&nbsp; Secret had nothing on the toothpaste.&nbsp; Worked like a charm even after 4 hours of working out with Teresa Tapp.<br />
	</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Had to share this great secret because we all want to smell nice and clean and adding a bunch of toxic chemicals is not in the health game plan.<br />

<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Can you imagine coming to a beautiful resort and spa in Florida and being met by the most welcoming staff ever???&nbsp; You receive a big bag full of great products and information and told to relax in your lovely room and come by for a fabulous brunch with other T-Tapping sisters.&nbsp; This is how the Boot Camp began.<br />
	</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px;">When you think of a &quot;boot camp&quot; do you think about military style workouts and tough living arrangements?&nbsp; How about spartan dietary plans and no libations?&nbsp; If that&#39;s your idea of a boot camp&#8230;you have never been to a T-Tapp Boot Camp.&nbsp; It is just the opposite.<br />
	</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px;">We worked out on Friday morning for 2 hours and then again that afternoon for 2 hours. But the terms &quot;worked out&quot; doesn&#39;t really explain what we were doing.&nbsp; We weren&#39;t jumping up and down and sweating like piggies.&nbsp; We weren&#39;t on the ground doing push ups till we puked.&nbsp; NO!!!&nbsp; This is not the T-Tapp way.&nbsp; We were learning new ways to activate our muscles that would help our bodies cinch in and up.&nbsp; <br />
	</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Lymphatic pumping was also emphasized at this boot camp and because of it, none of us were sore!!!!&nbsp; Please re-read that statement.&nbsp; We were NOT sore.&nbsp; Not after 4 hours a day of &quot;working out&quot;!!! That is a tribute to the amazing lymphatic power of muscle activation the T-Tapp way.<br />
	</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px;">I must also mention the incredible speakers Teresa had this year.&nbsp; What a line-up!!!<br />

<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Brent Hardgrave, International Performing Hair Artisan, did two beautiful dry cuts on stage and explained how to use your hair cut to frame your fame.&nbsp; We all loved it (and HIM) so much that Brent spent the next two days cutting, cutting, cutting.&nbsp; We all loved seeing each other emerge from his room grinning from ear to ear and swinging their hair around.&nbsp; I&#39;ve never heard so many women say they loved their hair before.&nbsp; I told you guys he is my hair GOD!!!!<br />

<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Tara Warner, the green smoothie queen, came and made the most delicious green smoothies for all of us and gave a wonderful talk about the health benies of these healing green drinks.&nbsp; She was charming and witty and makes one heck of a great drink.&nbsp; I just might be motivated to get out my 3 horse-power blender and run to the Farmers Market for my kale and other healing greens. <br />

<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Kim Bright, who started http://www.brightcorenutritional.com, had me in tears as she talked about her healing journey.&nbsp; Kim&#39;s passion is improving health through nutiriton and education.&nbsp; Her product line is Sweet Wheat and is the purest, alive wheatgrass on the planet.&nbsp; Not to worry.&nbsp; You don&#39;t have to drink it.&nbsp; She has it in capsules and yet you get all the live enzymes and other goodness that you would with a shot of pure wheatgrass.&nbsp; Check out her site to learn more about this wonderful healing product. <br />

<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Maka&#39;ala Yates is a powerful healer from Hawaii.&nbsp; His presence alone was palpable. Dr. Yates spoke on the use of indigenous medicines and tribal intelligence that can be used to help us heal our body and our world.&nbsp; He is a powerful speaker and a brilliant healer.&nbsp; You can find out more about his work at www.manalomi.com.&nbsp; <br />

<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Now I know you want to know all about the inch loss.&nbsp; Having been to over eight of these retreats, I was very curious to see what the inch loss results would be.&nbsp; The workouts at this retreat were less intense than in other years.&nbsp; Teresa was very concerned with helping those of us with adrenal fatique (and how many of us don&#39;t have adrenal fatique???).&nbsp; We didn&#39;t start at our usual 6:00 am.&nbsp; This made me SO happy.&nbsp; The earliest workout began at 8:30am.&nbsp; <br />
	</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px;">We didn&#39;t even do any floor work.&nbsp; We really focused on muscle activation (talk about ribs up!!) and lymphatic pumping.&nbsp; So I was curious about whether the inch loss would be comparable to other years.&nbsp; <br />
	</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px;">Bottom line is &#8230;the inch loss was just as good!!!&nbsp; Inch loss averaged 8 &#8211; 12 inches, 4 &quot; around belly. And the biggest inch loss winner lost 24.25 &quot;. Again&#8230;I wouldn&#39;t believe it if I hadn&#39;t experienced it myself.&nbsp; <br />
	</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:16px;">T-Tapp WORKS!!!&nbsp; It&#39;s all about muscle activation, linear alignment and lymphatic pumping.&nbsp; <br />

<p><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">I&#39;m going to the T-Tapp Bootie Bootcamp this week.&nbsp; I know..it&#39;s Beauty Bootcamp.&nbsp; But for me, I love what it does for my bootie.&nbsp; Just saying&#8230;</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">I&#39;m doing it differently this year. I decided to stop the insanity and reactivity and take the time to do some deep reflection.<br />
	</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">I spend time alone with my journal writing down what I achieved in 2011 and what I felt I didn&#39;t do so well with. What made me happy and where I let myself down. From this reflection, I began getting clarity on what it is I want to bring forward into my life in 2012.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Instead of New Years resolutions, I put together my new years intentions. Conscience intention is about deciding how to act! </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">It is focused on your own actions as opposed to the intended results. It is &quot;be&quot; oriented as opposed to &quot;do&quot; oriented. The &quot;doing&quot; arises naturally out of the &quot;being&quot;. And the having is the result. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">I want to be a healthy, balanced, empowered, joyful women who is of service to those who are drawn to me. This is my intention for 2012. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Still craving a challenge???&nbsp; Okay&#8230;I challenge you to take the time to reflect back on 2011 and make a conscious decision about your intentions for 2012.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">When you start to think about going on a diet, do you get anxious about being hungry, weak and irritable?  Are you worried that you&#8217;ll fail again because you won&#8217;t be able to stay on your diet when faced with social situations that involve food because you&#8217;ll be too hungry to stay strong?<br />
</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">A study was done a few years ago and these were the two biggest fears people had that helped them back from moving forward on a diet plan.<br />
</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Hunger is a complex issue but this is what I&#8217;ve learned from experience working with the balanced eating plan.  When you eat 6 small, balanced meals in the day, after about 4 days, your physical hunger goes away (as long as you don&#8217;t have serious metabolic issues).  Most people are blown away that they just aren&#8217;t hungry anymore for the first time in their lives.<br />
</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">This has to do with bringing their blood sugar back into balance and turning off their insulin pump.<br />
</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">There is a difference though between not being hungry and feeling full.  In order to turn your body into a fat-burning machine, you don&#8217;t eat until you feel full or stuffed.  You eat until you aren&#8217;t hungry.  Big difference.<br />
</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">If you find yourself uncomfortable because you aren&#8217;t getting a feeling of fullness, it&#8217;s helpful to become mindful of what it is you are wanting filled.  At this point, it&#8217;s typically not a physical hunger you are dealing with. It&#8217;s an emotional hunger or need you have that you want to not feel.<br />
</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">If you are really ready to grab a hold over your weight and health, I suggest getting the book <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Shrink Yourself</span>.  It&#8217;s written by Dr. Roger Gould and it is a fabulous book that basically can allow you to become your own &#8220;shrink&#8221;.<br />

<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">&#8220;Light bulb thinking&#8221; is being ON your diet when you are being &#8220;perfect&#8217;.  But the minute you take a bite or two of something that isn&#8217;t on your list of approved foods, you are instantly OFF your diet.  Might as well eat everything you want since you&#8217;ve already blown it!  This creates the yo-yo effect and has dangerous health consequences.<br />
</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">This year, let&#8217;s not go there again.  Instead, put together a holiday survival plan and stick to the plan.<br />

<li><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Keep to your &#8220;every 2 &#8211; 3 hour&#8221; fueling schedule.  If you are going to a party, make sure to fuel before you go so you aren&#8217;t hungry when you get there.<br />

<li><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Use small party plates when available and move away from the food table.  </span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Stay mindful!!!  Don&#8217;t allow yourself to slip into that mindless hand to mouth nibbling that can add up to hundreds of calories before you know it.  </span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Eat slowly and chew,chew,chew!</span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Have a plan for how you are going to deal with saboteurs.<br />

<li><span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;">Remember to enjoy the holidays and give thanks for all the blessings in your life.<br />
